Hey there! How is your Sunday night going? Just had lentil pasta with spinach and have candles lit. Relaxing evening, yes please.
So, I have been keeping you updated through social media about the progress of my Invisalign treatment with Lineberger Orthrodontics and super excited to share my experience so far. I am so impressed by the results and honestly didn't really think I needed it because I do want to keep my “imperfections” and feel like the spacing in my teeth make my smile ( I do not like too perfect - embracing your imperfections makes me feel my best). Well, that changed week 8 (HA)- I really started to see the results at one of my appointments around that time. I talked to so many people who had such great success with it and even my favorite guy who works at Fresh Market. He always laughs when I tell him he has perfect teeth.
So quick 10 top hightlights on on my experience so far and why you should you definitely consult with Dr. Matthew Lineberger or his wife, Megan Lineberger who own the company. Amazing couple who do tons for the community, kids and work with a ton of athletes in Charlotte. As most of y’all know, I am huge advocate of self-care and always keep in mind that things I am doing now to care of myself will help me live a healthier lifestyle. Floss, brushing etc. is all so important not only cosmetically but disease can occur and go into your bloodstream etc. On a lighter note..
-treatment is helping to prevent issues with my teeth years down the road- this is my thing- preventative - that word just makes me feel at ease lol
-plans can range from $2,000 to $6,000 based on what you need
-changed my mind midway that I want to close my spaces more- they just did more scans and got new trays for me- love how you can customize as you go
-total of 12 brackets on my teeth + added 1 bracket on my lateral incisor
-treatment is preventing my bottom teeth from getting more out of line 10 years down the road
-it is widening my mouth which makes your smile bigger- yesssss
-had jaw pain the past few months & the treatment plan is correcting how my teeth are placed and relieving so much pain & pressure in my jaw
- pushing down the central inscisor on the right & then will use an instrument to even out the bottom part of the tooth so my teeth go straight across ( you can see in the pics how my tooth is broken at bottom currently)
9. whitening them at the end- goodbye coffee stains (love my Iced Doppio’s)
-3D digital scanner creates a video that you can see how they will at the end of the treatment ~ 6 months so far & can’t wait to show you all the final results.
Would love to hear about your experience with Invisalign and let me know if you any questions at all about the whole process. I had a lisp for about 5 months but I just embraced it and gives another reason to laugh. I do wear them 24/7 and if I have to take out the trays to shoot for modeling then I will just wear them an extra day. Give Lineberger a call at their Huntersville or Charlotte, NC location to ask any questions and my gf, Christine works there. Super sweet staff & love my experience so far. Here is their website & goes into way more detail as well.
