Happy Halloween! I hope you are enjoying all the Halloween celebrations and I know I am definitely enjoying all the posts on social media of everyone's costumes! So, this past year I have devoted everything to my full-time job, health & fitness, modeling & my blog. I do not have as much time to read as I would like so I have started to listen to podcasts more and more. I usually listen to them when I am getting ready in the morning for work or on my way to work. There is such a variety of podcasts topics out there but I usually stick to anything that talks about digital marketing, blogging, business, self-help and leadership. What are some of your favorite podcasts that you listen to? Leave a comment below. Seriously, I love learning about new podcasts and I know others want to read your suggestions as well.

I get questions all the time about how you make money as a blogger and will share more in future posts! I would like to write a post on digital marketing and just how powerful it is in 2017 and what influence bloggers have in our economy today.  I took a workshop class from Julie Solomon who helps with brand management and consulting and she also has a podcast. She noted that brand deals with bloggers will exceed $35 billion in 2017 and that brands are willing to pay $5,000 to $15,000 which has doubled in 2 years. Pretty incredible, right?

Podcasts are a platform for anyone just wanting to listen to come cool content or if you are wanting to start your own podcast to grow your business and make money. I do not have a podcast YET but that is all in my future plans with my business & blog. Podcasts for your business can help you stand out as a leader in your industry, helps build a brand, allows you to connect to others that are like minded and helps to market your company.

5 ways you can make money from podcasts

1. Sponsorships

-Having companies sponsor your show by covering costs if you mention their business on your show.

2. Relationships

-Great for networking and its a way to connect with others that are potential clients

3. Increase sales for your business

-Create awareness of products/services that you offer and convert listeners, subscribers and their prospects into paying customers

4. Book and Audiobook

-Write a book from your favorite interviews, podcasts and questions/answers that have been discussed on your podcasts

5. Virtual Summits

-Create a conference that is through a digital platform only / charge per person

I also wanted to include some of my favorite podcasts below! Click on the image and will take you to the Apple Store where you can jump in and starting listening! The Skinny Confidential is hands down one of my favorites because she talks about multiple topics which I like to do. She is so business savvy! Keep grinding everyone! I hope this was helpful and would love to hear from you in the comment section below. Also, you can shop my whole outfit from the Who What Wear Collection from Target and you cannot pass up the prices!
